Dublin born portrait and figure painter and stained glass artist. He studied at the Metropolitan School of Art under Patrick Tuohy (1894-1930) and later worked at the Harry Clarke Stained Glass Studios. In a long career, he exhibited some 76 works at the R.H.A. in virtually every medium. He also showed in America, Europe and Australia. He designed and executed several stained glass windows and did illustrations for the Cap- uchin Annual. His brother Laurence Campbell R.H.A. (1911-1964) was an important sculptor.
