Ann Martin is an American-Irish narrative artist who has lived and worked in West Cork since 1984. Martin began her professional career as a freelance reportorial artist for the American Broadcasting Company national news covering political trials, most notably the Senate Watergate hearings, 1973. Her closely observed work explores people and landscapes in everyday life. The paintings have been exhibited in Ireland, the U.K., France and the United States. Her studio and home are in Kilcoe, Roaringwater Bay, County Cork.
